Grey quartz countertops are a beautiful addition to your kitchen interior. It is harder to wear than wood or Formica and less sensitive than stainless steel. Granite and marble have specific properties that must consider before choosing either for your kitchen countertop. Even quartz is not 100 percent stone; it has the qualities of stone and can therefore group with stone worktops.

Harder than granite, non-porous and scratch resistant, grey quartz countertops are making breaks in the kitchen countertop design. Quartz plates are unusual. Instead, manufacturers mix mixed quartz with resin to create the hard-knit quartz countertop. Quartz does not require sealing. Hot pots can placed directly on quartz. It is non-porous and bacterial.

Make a decision, determining between granite, marble or quartz depends on the appearance you are trying to achieve and how the countertop is used. And then for occupied families marble can be too high maintenance. Drinking games, food stains and high usage without drying up after can cause deterioration of the appearance of marble. Granite is hard, resists stains but is not completely stain-free, and requires a minimum of seal once a year. Grey quartz countertops are a good choice for active families because of its spotless quality.
